Small simple fullscreen editor recommendations?

Hi there;

A question for my fellow readers: I would like to find a very straightforward
fullscreen editor for use under SunOS with character terminals (eg vt100).
I'd prefer something that has a minimal number of commands or other fancy
stuff, as my intended audience is the casual user of our computers who might
want to thump in a text file and can't be bothered to learn vi or emacs.

I used a relatively nice simple editor on the PC a number of years ago called
Personal Editor; it had nice features for moving blocks of text, the commands
were generally either attached to the function keys or Alt-something or other.
I would consider this as a good editor, except that it runs on the PC :-(

Any suggestions?

If you look back over the last two weeks you'll find reference to a
'collection of vi macros' and the ftp site. In the index you'll find
mentioned AE.DOC and AEAE.C, which are the obfuscated and unobfuscated
source to a very small and simple full screen text editor.  Have a look;
it might suite your needs.
