Are you denying that the implied meaning/symbolism/imagery of 3) was intentional on Ginsberg's part, Donkey? There are exactly four ways to interpret that poem, Donkey: 1) A submissive pleading for sex from a dominator, 2) A slave pleading for BDSM sex from its master, 3) An apprentice/acolyte (adolescent boy) pleading for BDSM sex from its master, and 4) A masochistic worshipper praying for BDSM sex from God. I don't believe that any one of these interpretations are right or wrong. If you select any one as the main narrative, the others remain as additional layers of symbolism/meaning. And since we know that Ginsberg was a member of NAMBLA, we can assume that the apprentice/acolyte version at the forefront of his mind during the writing of this piece. Michael Pendragon "Allen Ginsberg had sexual activity with a young man who was NOT 15, but 17/18, and he made a hyperbolic error in using the word '15'." -- The late, unlamented Stephen "Pickles" Pickering
