Is there a specialist website that sells golden numbers or is Ebay my best bet? I'm asking as I was looking at these SIM only cards in Tesco this evening when I noticed the number. Not going to say what the number is as I haven't decided whether to keep it for myself but it starts 0770, then a number that's **0 and finally the last 4 numbers are the same !! If there is an internet award for being smug, I win it tonight :-) Cheers Phil

(Incidentally, in both of the above two of the x's are the same number..!) Ivor

You could sell it for more than you paid for it but ring one of the networks and ask about "gold" numbers for the real deal.

In fact my team York City has just taken one of their lads on loan and he scored twice against Mansfield on Tuesday (closed door match). Anyway how would I list it on Ebay (as in title)? I presume the term is "Gold" and not "Golden." Phil

Last 4 digits the same is pretty cool, but i still think mine is very memorable and i'll be keeping it for as long as possible (its xxx19491952..which i always say as nineteen fourty-nine, nineteen fifty two)

His son (the other director of the firm) has the same, with a different number for the Xs. He got three of them as part of a "deal" he was making. No, they are not for sale! He offered me the third one, but I prefer to be more incognito, so he's kept it for future use. Some of the stuff offered as "Gold" is frankly not inspiring. I reckon anything worth having has gone already. Keith

Good grief! There aren't half some barrels being scraped on there. I don't think my 07a7a wxywyx is that special, but it's better than some of the stuff they're describing as "memorable" on eBay! (Course, if anyone wants my non-memorable number I'd be happy to negotiate terms :-) ) -- Tony
