Does anyone know if the standard Pace STB that Telewest uses supports RGB output to the TV at all (presuming the VCR output on the back is just composite)? a

One scart does RGB, the other just composite.

That's what I was hoping, but it just says "TV" and "VCR" on the SCART outputs on mine. Have Telewest issued a new STB anytime recently? Mine is about 2 years old. a

You might have to switch RGB on in the setup menu, I forget now. > Have Telewest issued a new > STB anytime recently? Mine is about 2 years old. Dunno. I got my box in mid 2002 - Model No: D/1010T Phase 1b

When I switch to RGB, my screen moves about 3cm to the left for some unknown reason, whereas composite keeps it in the right place. It's a 6 year old TV though and I can't notice a picture difference between the two, so nothing lost there. Planning on getting a new widescreen TV though, thus the thoughts :) a

They installed one of those first for me but we had to wait a day for it to be activated because of some delay with the call centre. The next day I came home from work and everything was working but they'd changed it for a Pace box. It's definitely RGB on the "TV" output. Stewart -- You are about to enter... The Scary Door...
