Just seen on ITV3. Talk about the march of the grocer's (or should that be "grocers"?) apostrophe! Even the BBC does this sometimes, on screen and on its ("it's"?) news website. If they paid me 50 grand a year, I'd proof-read their content for them. Martin - Outraged of Withington, 37-going-on-70

Grocers' or grocer's depending on whether it's (it is) referrring to the plural or the singular of grocer. > Even the BBC does this sometimes, on screen and on its ("it's"?) news > website. You should see some of the stuff that goes on the autocue. I don't think any of our little baby journos. know where/when to use apostrophes. It's a good job they only have to read it.

I once saw a "Docter in the House" caption shown as the break-bumper throughout the film. -- Graham. %Profound_observation%

Goodwin's pension pot turned into £160M rather than £16M recently, and it got read out. You might have thought someone would have done a sanity check on the numbers.
