New product out today to help convert old tapes to upscaled/HD formats. http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/betamaxhd.html Other models will be being released soon, including VHS-S to Bluray and U-Matic-S to DVD. Given it's launched today, the first 500 units will be selling for $29.99. Has anyone used something like this before? I've only had the 8mm to VHS type devices before now but am not sure if I want to commit to order one... Cheers, Lirpa Loof

The old adage is probably still as true today as it was yesterday, garbage in = garbage out! -- Wikipedia: the Internet equivalent of Hyde Park and 'speakers corner'...
