Count Lennart Bernadotte, who built his garden into a tourist attraction, died on Dec. 21 on Mainau, the island he had gardened in Lake Constance, Germany, for over half a century. He was 95. I'm ashamed to say that I've never heard of this garden. Has any urgler been there and can they enlighten my ignorance, please! -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon (remove the weeds to email me)
