The latest line on the economy: According to a _front page_ article of
the NYT News Service today (Fri, Feb 28, 1997) YOUR JOB INSECURITY is
ACTUALLY "good for the economy." In fact, the article continues saying
only problem is that as "workers become accustomed to their new level
of uncertainty, their confidence may revive and the upward pressure
on wages resume." Why don't they just strip us all naked and throw
us all in the street now??? Can one believe such arrogance?

As usual---a church thinking that just because they are experts in one
field, that they are automatically experts in other fields.

There is no such entity as "the economy". It is just a concept, and a
shorthand expression for "people getting together and exchanging goods and
labor with other people."
