OTOH, simply the *language* permitted on some of the Canadian major tv
networks' prime-time shows is *far* rougher than anything heard on those
from the states!

Is there ever a chance we'll see "Forever Knight" or "Reboot" down here
again? They were some fun, but clean shows, though Knight could be violent
at times, but that's the case with vampires, you know.

SIlly silly. Canada is freer with pronography than the US. Just compare the
movies Crash and People vs. Larry Flynt. Crash, a Canadian movie involves an
incredible amount of nudity, sex (hetero and gay) and last I heard was still
being blocked in the US. I wonder if it will ever be relesed there without
major cutting (a shame since I thought it was a really good movie). People vs.
Larry Flynt, OTOH, had a portion blurred out the only time you saw a
nude woman's crotch. I found that very silly.

Why the heck would they cancel those shows south of the border? They're
certainly far and away better than some of the US dribble I'm getting up
here. I get "Big Bad Beetleborgs" and "Sailor Moon", for chrissakes. No
rational person would even watch them.

"Sailor Moon" is Japanese, not American, and translated to English
by a Canadian company (I believe).
