I have just received a partial photograph from the regimental museum of the Warrant Officers and various Sergeants of 16th Lancers in May 1907 as it includes my paternal grandfather William. Photograph taken at Aldershot. Credit to Captain Holby Curator. I do not understand some of the abbreviated ranks; can anyone help? Sgt (O-RC) T.Marsden S-S-M-R-R J.Curr S-Q-M-S W.Westcott S-S-M-I-F J.James F-Q-M-S W.Dean S-S-M-I-M C.Denman S-S-M (O-RS) name incomplete I will publish as near a complete list of names and ranks here later for people who like to google.
