[I'm amazed at how hard it is to write a short comment that actually makes sense. :-< ] > ... but why do you say that quantum logic isn't mathematics? I commented that quantum logic "wasn't mathematics" in the context of the discussion on modal logics. The comments on modal logics had ranged around "not needed" for mathematics (Dr. Sheridan's approximate position perhaps over simplified). A counterpoint to that was (forgot by whom) that modal logics made the modeling easier. Given that, I was looking for comments about quantum logic vis-a-vis the philosophies being expressed. I certainly didn't want to imply that somehow QL isn't mathematically based or voodoo or something like that. It's roots are different, that's all. -- Steve (really "D. E.")
