So I'm making my way through $BJ}>f5-(B, and come across a description of the difference between $B$h$7(B and $B$h$m$7(B, stating that the former is a more forthright expression than the latter, which could be translated as $B0-$/$O$J$$(B, etc., along with a side-note that this applies to $B$"$7(B (strong) and $B$o$m$7(B (weak). Would the following be unreasonable? $B$h$7!!"*!!$h$m$7(B $B$"$7!!"*!!$"$m$7!!"*!!$o$m$7(B And if not, what is this $B$m(B and does it turn up anywhere else? Thanks, Marc

For some reason I never thought to connect the $B$m(Bs of $B$h$m$7(B and $B$o$m$7(B. I have wondered if $B$h$m$7(B might be "yo-rasi" with vowel "harmoninzing," but if I had to lay money on it I would still go for coincidence. Is $B$"$m$7(B attested? I've never seen it. A number of cases of $B$"(B <--> $B$o(B have been proposed, but I don't remember finding any totally convincing. The hardest thing to explain in your hypothesis might be the fact that $B$h$m$7(B is $B%7%/3hMQ(B but $B$o$m$7(B is $B%/3hMQ(B. Bart
