I suppose that is a general phenomena. Of course fencing advertised are welcomed, since they fit in the group. But other kind of propaganda are nasty. The fact is that if you pay something you have the rigth to advertise, but it is very unlikely to do it for free. Here in belgium man can put an sticker in his mail-box that says. Geen reclamen aub. That means no propaganda please. This is an official sticker and the company that puts publicity in your mail boxs gets a fine. Cant we do anything about it? Maybe we may simply send and e-mail message to the company telling no publicity please. Things are going even worst, some of the companies are taking our e-mail addresses from the news group and sending publicity directly to our e-mail accounts. Are there any law that can protect us? I don't know any solutions but I will e-mail to all this companies with this simple sentence. No publicity please!. Those of us who > play paintball dont need no vocabulary builder. :) Not to mention us basketball, baseball, etc. fans. I don't use the Internet, its newsgroups, ftp sites, etc. or any of that to enhance my vocabulary(not that it needs all that much enhancing, but that's another story), I use it to have fun and learn... about SPORTS and MUSIC, not about some crap I have to put up with at school. I don't think I'm the only person who feels this way. -- Later, Eric Opperman http://www.tripod.com/~EricOpperman/
