Well, my inbox has been filled with a lot of opinions on the
lightweight weigh-in issue.  Looks like I will have to scrap Plan A
(identify a consensus and go with it).  The spectrum of opinion (just
counting those from the USA for the moment) is too broad for that.  So
I am going to take the lawyer's way out and collect all the comments
and data and ship them off to the Lightweight Committees and see if
they can come up with any better ideas.

UNTIL YOU HEAR OF ANY CHANGE the rule is exactly as written in the
book.  Weigh-ins before the first race in EACH EVENT.  If there is any
change, it would not affect this season anyway.
