Now wait a second. . .there are valid reasons for an extended TX mod on occasion. Just because this guy did not justify his request to you does not necessarily mean he was asking how to do something illegal. For instance, I am going to need to modify my Alinco DJ-F1T to allow extended TX for Civil Air Patrol activities. Some MARS operators have similar needs, etc., etc. On to my request: which diode is the extended TX for the F1T? Instructions appreciated. --Pete
