I recently started using an ICOM 3220A dual band transceiver (2m/70cm). It seems that the two bands are completely seperate from each other. There are 18 memories for each band, power settings, step rates, etc. must be set for each band. It does have a "dual" feature that allows you to listen to 1 frequency on one band while listening to a second frequency on the other band. Only problem is, I have not figured how to scan the memories on both bands simultaneously. Anyone know how? While on the subject, this radio has general coverage receive on VHF, but not UHF. Does anyone know how to unlock the receiver on UHF so that the radio can receive 440-470 MHz? How about any other tricks/mods? 73, Harold, N4FLZ hgpeach@ms.uky.edu -- Harold G.
