Sorry for the r.b.* group spam-ola, but I've got a minor emergency. Looking into the cost of living for Boulder, Colorado (moving around New Years). Anyone out there have some ballpark figures on annual/monthly apartment/homeowner costs for a single guy within a resonable commute distance of Boulder? I'm on a tight deadline, so I need whatever info I can get today/tonight (Wednesday the 29th). Boulder's cost of living is pretty normal except for housing costs, which have gone thru the roof in the past 3 years. Figure buying a 1200 square foot, 30 year old tract ranch house at $160,000 or more. Apartment rents are all over the map depending on location, age, etc. but it seems a 2 bedroom apt. in town goes for at least $700 if I read this morning's newspaper right. Gasoline is more expensive than Denver. Currently 87 octane unleaded is about $1.29 a gallon. Once upon a time (up until 2 years ago) the drive from Boulder to the northern suburbs of Denver (Westminster) was pretty much country freeway. Now, new exits are being built, 12plex theatres , golf courses, industrial parks, and 2000 new houses are being built, so expect the commute to Denver to get really gross. Hopes this helps!

Of course, now the question is what are the salary levels are like? -- +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Steven L. Sheffield (BOB #1765/IBOB #3) Disclaimer?
