I know I blew it. I waited too long, like one day, and the Detail and Scale book on the SBD went out of print. No joy after what feels like a lifetime of digging around local area shops. Does anyone have a copy in excellent condition that they are willing to part with or better yet know of a shop that still has one for sale? Any and all leads will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ben Schapiro schapiro@notis.com

Ben, My best tip for finding out of print books is a gentleman by the name of Bob Mills, bobmills@MSIS.dmso.mil. He has been able to track down several things for me and is very good at packing! Woody PS I have no business association with Mr. Mills except that I use his services and am merely passing on my experiences with him. Just a note of thanks to the folks that responded to my question about the D&S SBD book. A 'net aquaintence just called. He had checked with a local shop and they still had one copy which they are now shipping to me. Thanks Cameron and the others who sent me some leads. I am interested in building and flying an RC blimp or hovercraft (not the TYCO/ToysRUs version). Where can I get information on kits or plans or design principles? Any help would be appreciated. Darin

The only hovercraft plans I've seen are ones I drew up in college. (still untested) I'd be interested in anything others have seen or know about. -Paul :) Opinions are mine, deere doesn't do planes.
