Saw the ALMS broadcast today. I do so love those prototypes. The footage
of Mario abusing a Panoz was thrilling. It's an endurance race, yet
there's still great passing for position at the end. Terrific series, but
I wish it would venture more inland.

Lots of FCY's at Charlotte. Since the USGP will also be a stadium course,
the distinct possibility exists that Indy will also see more than a
typical GP race's worth of FCY's.

Man, you know what amazed me?..
The exit from the road course onto the track at that real steep banking of
the corner,...

I thought fer sure someone was gonna bottom out and wreck there,...

Thoze Panoz cars sure are crazy looking things. Paint em black and put a big
yellow bat on the side and you got yerself the batmobile,....

Excellent racing....

I was dissapointed on the turn out for Charlotte. I recall Max Papis
(Ferrari) and John Paul Jones (Porche) racing to the thick in IMSA for 1st.
at corner 10 at Mosport. Todays race was like that, except for the
troubles the so called "top" teams had, did you see Audi? and even Panoz
sucked, but won. Despite the fans not showing up, it was great. and I have
no Idea where the NASCAR dolt's were.

Well of course, one deployment of the safety car would be more than a
typical GP race's worth. Mind you, there were probably more
deployments last year than ever before.

The Panoz didn't win, the #42 BMW LMR won.

Being a NASCAR fan necessarily begets a continual justification for doing
so. Attending a true stock-car race with real passes and tight competition
requires that those justifications for exclusively following NASCAR be all
the stronger.

An unexamined faith requires extreme behavior in its maintainence.

Hi Brian,

I would disagree somewhat. Following NASCAR is suddenly trendy. Why else
would there be all those .com cars and race sponsors?

The NASCAR Marketing Juggernaut im suspecting,...
NASCAR went through the roof over tha lat five years, but has hit its
peak,..

I give e alot of tose .com sponsors (the IRL included) only a couple of
years. (I had never enen heard of northern lights befor ethe IRL).... Its
only a matter of time before the bottom falls out of the over-inflated
internet technology stocks. They have the money now, but i think a lot of
those companies will become very devalued in a couple of years...

Whats gonne be the NEXT big thing on the internet?...

Mark my words, ASP's are coming. I think those would be the next smart
investment in online technologies.
