Amplifier for home system

I am currently using a pair of Yamaha MX1000 power amps to drive my
B&W 802 series II speakers. These class AB amps just don't seem to do
the job. I need some help selecting a replacement for these two amps.
The system is used for both music and surround. The system includes
the following components:

2 Yamaha MX1000 power amps
1 Yamaha DSPA2070 surround amp
Yamaha TX350 Tuner
B&O RX2 Turntable
Nakamichi CR7A Cassette
Sony MDP601 Laser Disc Player
Sony SLV-R5UC Super VHS
Toshiba TRX 2220 Sattelite Receiver
2 Velodyne ULD-12 Subs
Pioneer PRO-97 Elite 50" Projection TV
Nakamichi CD Player
4 Klipsch KG1 for surround effects
Yamaha C80 Preamp for music

There are also a pair of ADS 1590 in my den and a pair of the Klipsch
sattelites (KG1 and sub) in my game room.

My budget is $2000-2500 for the amp and right now I'm leaning towards
the Sunfire amp from Bob Carver. Any information on this amp or any
reccomendations on some other amp is appreciated. Thanks.

Rick Charbono.
