I've not been here for a week (so I'm at fault too) but when I come back
there are so few new threads or even posts - look at the dates. Time was
there would have been hundreds. Where did everyone go?

It's REnzo's fault - without Enzo viewing Corrie, ratucs is in danger
of becoming moribund.

OTOH, Enzo may be innocent of all charges! :-D

It's not ratucs that's becoming moribund, it's the show and that started
over five years ago.

It's quiet in many groups right now. Maybe it's just the February blaha.

The new fella who wants to take over running the factory looks like a
cross between a younger Colin Firth and a younger Kenneth Branagh.

There was one funny line a week or so ago, when Mary was preparing to
set off on her cruise and was literally begging Norris to go with her.
Norris asked if she was taking her hat boxes and vintage clothing, and
she replied that she was just taking a nylon carry-on bag and a money
belt for her cash and passport. Norris said, "Do you know, in America
they call those fanny packs?" The look on Mary's face was priceless.

The she got up and said firmly, "Goodbye, Norris." I don't think we'll
see Mary again.

Actually, there is. Tomorrow night at 9pm on BBC2. Same time as "Law &
Order: UK" on ITV and "Eli Stone" on the Sci-Fi Channel.

"Law and Order" I have sucessfully avoided since the very first episode
which turned me off the entire franchise. "Eli Stone" was so quirky I
really liked it - kinda like "Life" - too bad Eli is gone - and
hopefully, the "Dollhouse" will burn down fairly quickly ! Wheedon is
well done and cooked on this one !

I thought that "Eli Stone" was/is great. We're still watching the second
season here.

I have the first two episodes available, but I haven't seen them yet.
Hopefully "Dollhouse" will be like "BtVS". I didn't like "BtVS" until about
three episodes from the end of the first season, when suddenly I "got" it.

Me too. But they've canceled the show. There's about four eps left, and

Liam's cousin Tom suddenly reappeared in a scene with new guy Luke in

He's a colonial but Steeleye Span were awful All Around My Hat.

Give me the Devil's music like The Devil went Down toGeorgia which is
acceptable country music! :-D
