This is one of the best concert films I've ever seen. With Eric Clapton, Paul & Ringo, Tom Petty, Ravi Shankar and many others, the music, sound and photography are all great. They also covered some George songs which I never stopped to notice before, like "If I Needed Someone" which was his tribute(?) to the Byrds or "The Inner Light," one of his Indian songs. A high point is Ringo Starr singing "Photograph" which he wrote with George. Monty Python is even in it but not with John Cleese. George financed "Life of Brian." Did they show this film in theaters very much? Or only one weekend in the biggest cities? I don't remember.
