Round-Robin Story

A couple of folks in r.a.dw have suggested moderating a round-robin
story.

I'd love to write another one of those... but why moderate it?

Half the fun of a round-robin is watching everyone else try to make
sense of what the other writers are throwing at them. So what if
there are contradictions, or multiple followups? Way back in the
Dark Ages when I was on a local BBS called Gallifrey (no relation
to anything connected to Dave), we had two followups to one pass-around
story segment, each of which spawned a completely separate storyline.
And no one had any problem with that.

I'd love to see a pass-around story, but with no limits on it. After
all, if the round-robins had been moderated before, S'Dragon and I
couldn't have turned Dave's isolationist-Gallifrey story into an
Animaniacs crossover. :-)

Regards,
Jon Blum

Primarily so that each person gets to write their piece, without
holding up everybody else.

One still exists. In The Bleak Midwinter is still going (though it's been on
hold recently due to Net-Decalog). I will post the whole thing again soon when
the next person has contributed.

Well we're trying to keep it sensible and make some sort of sense!

By all means go for it. I have no objection. I may even contribute!

Yes, that's what I was afraid of ;)
