Yup, it's official. Saw the commercial about an hour ago. He's "livin' the
dream -- I'm going to Disney World!"

OK - I wanted the NY guys to win

The whole season is shown in UK on Channel5 - the superbowl was shown on
    - ooh!

The Guy who did the shows all season for channel 5 ended up at the
superbowl ( paid for by BBC )

I suppose the Eli Guy was the one who was throwing the ball? - we had the
info that his Brother was also a ball thrower.

Then when the Giants took the lead within the last min of play the brother
was clapping and had big grin on his face..

WOW I just had to hit 'live pause' and go to get a drink ( 3 am our time )

then when I came back the last few mins of the coverage had timed out -
sigh! so much for digital technology!

and today I went to work for the first time in 11 months ( yawn )

just to be late as someone had thrown themselves - or was thrown - into
local river - grumble grumble

Spam = Plopped ham and chalk

Best part of the game (for this Jets fan) was watching Bill Belichick
AFTER the game! :-)

From another Jets fan... I totally agree. I am by no means a Giants
fan but I admit to a little fist-pump when Plaxico caught the last TD
pass. Ever since he resigned, after 1/2 day, as "HC of the NYJ", I
live to see him uncomfortable. And boy, did he look uncomfortable.

I was told that Eli was on his way to WDW, but that his plane was late and
he didn't make it down in time for the parade down Main Street!
Glad he made it for the Canyon of Heroes parade!

C'mon, he's just a spoiled, overpaid football player like the rest of them.
Who cares?
He's earning millions every year and he's going to DisneyWorld and living
the dream. Oh yes, right. Warren Buffet and Bill Gates can't wait to get
there either.

Actually he was supposed to go to DisneyLAND, but he "missed his
flight". Come on...between Southwest and US Air there's a
bazillion flights between Phoenix and LA/Orange County every day
and they try to tell us that he couldn't get a different flight?

More likely that spoiled brat Eli decided he just didn't want to
go to Disneyland. (And anyone who remembers the 2004 NFL draft
will understand why this Charger fan thinks he is a complete and
total jerk.)

They've probably already been....

Do you have any interest in any sports anywhere?

Not for a long time. Even when I was younger, I preferred playing to
watching. I liked boxing but there's not much of that these days except pay
per view, I don't like it that much:-) I like to watch ultimate fighting
once in awhile but there is no one person I just can't miss. You would
think that being from MA that I'd be really into sports but I'm not. If I
had Red Sox season tickets I'd give them to my daughter and son-in-law. I'm
a news junky.
