Does anyone know where I can get a couple of episodes of Pretear. I've been trying to download them from Kazaa, but I can't seem to get #10,#11 and #13. Please someone help. Thanks, Kim

I think there's a review of the Odex DVDs on animeondvd.com -- Hana no Kaitou http://peachcoloredsky.keenspace.com <--- Archives up. http://members.fortunecity.com/animeg3282/ <---Fancy Lala Club! I think there's a > review of the Odex DVDs on animeondvd.com The Odex DVDs are, in translation quality, about equivalent to a middling to good fansub. As English isn't their first language it's extremely coherent, but there's a few articles missing, a few liberties taken ("Himeno no baka!" is translated as "Himeno, you're the stupidest girl I've ever met!" which isn't actually that much of a deviation but it might offend a few people), and a few oddities (the characters say "Yap!" sometimes). There's no extras, but the video quality is absolutely gorgeous - whether the series is just naturally beautiful I don't know, but it's extremely crisp and fluid. The big advantage to the Odex Pretear is/was it's out already, and it's dirt cheap - thirty British pounds including postage for an entire 13 episode series obtained legally is a steal. Plus, the show is great fun, and has the advantage for a mahou shoujo show of being very short, so there's not much time for filler. And it has lots of angsty bishounen for those who don't much like the magical girl aspect! Andrew H
