Hi Guys,

The scenario is a 386 or 486 machine, running DOS 5/Windows 3.0
I would like to install emacs (i.e. some PC version like demacs)
and get it running. I like to use emacs in VIP-mode -- do any of
the PC-based emacs implementations have this ?

Any advice ideas etc would be much appreciated. Though I have used
emacs (and thus know what I want), I am new to PCs and relatively
clueless at this point, so I guess I'm saying don't assume I know too
much about PCs - think UNIX user trying to do stuff with PCs. :)

Thanks,
Sumit

P.S. It can safely be assumed that none of the compression etc
utilities exist, so if your suggestions involve stuff like lharc or
whatever, please also mention where to get these. Thanxagin !
