Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury: We can't afford any new taxes. I have the kids out begging for food, the wife is selling her goods, no electricity, the sheriff/constable is knocking at the door, no telephone. What should I do? Guess i'll "NOT" vote for another tax, thats a start. Don't tax ourselves into poverty, some of us can't afford it. Don't beleive me? Ask the unemployment office what they pay me a week. Nothing like you people with those $30+ jobs. In reality, before and when you go to the voting pools - THINK, think what ALL the aspects of this new tax is intended to do. Then ask yourself, are the supporters telling me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? It's just like when your on a jury trial. When in doubt, beyond the shadow of a doubt, vote "NO". You need to set aside any personnel thoughts about what your neighbor will think of you, your friends, the cops, Rooney, McClatchy, Murphy, Santorium, Whect, and any of those other people that really don't give a shit about you. Remember, your vote is done by secret ballot, only YOU know how you voted. You can tell them anything. I refuse to pay Rooney, the Post-Gazette, McClatchy, etc. to run their over paid ball teams. When in fact they have the money, etc. to do it theirselves. They want it - they buy it, period. I don't see them offering the area residents a cut of the profits, half off on tickets, or even free tickets, etc., do you? In the end, who is going to make all the profits? Are YOU going to be part of that? Look a Cleveland, the residents are walking around with T-shirts saying - "The mistake on the lake". Check out Cincinatti, their T-shirts say, "Shoot me, I voted for the tax". I don't think their happy. Enjoy, whatever your vote - it should be applauded. At least you came out to vote. jon
