Tim,

I called twice for echomail and your message was the second
message
incomming on ti echo today.

As far as the 98 messages. I fed Pete Porro around 80+ messages
from my
own system so that was how they got there. I just hope there are
no dupes
flying around the echo...

Re: for sale
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bill,

In the Future (in the pase as I remember, you were asked to do
this once
before by someone else) could you please break up HUGE messages
into smaller
chunks. Some of us do not have software that supports those type of
HUGE messages! A few of us talked (voice) and found we were forced
to
delete your message from our systems because of the problems it
caused.

I would prefer not to have to change software for the sake of One
For-Sale advertisement.

    Scott

I do not think Ben gets onto this echo much anymore, as I recall
however, the
registered version of his Dezipping program does handles Imploded
members. Unfortunatly, there is no dezipping program that handles
the newer Deflated files. The reason for this is simple, there is
simply insufficient memory in the TI to handle the large data
tables needed for this type of compression. In fact as a side
note, the version of Dezip that handles Imploded files used almost
every square inch of memory. As I recall from a conversation I had
with Ben at one point there was only around 1K of free memory when
Dezip runs!!!!

Hmmm, no, actually. But the difference was neglibable at 19.2 and
2400 baud... (but, it explains why 300 baud didn't work for my
modems.)

Though, maybe it's partly why I had so many problems transferring
high-speed back IN to the TI?

No matter now, I guess. My TI-ing nowadays is through emulators.

<sigh>

I can't stand to see a grown man cry. or even sniffle.

So here's a message for the TI Echo!

On a related note, my TI emulator for the Amiga is still not
running properly... sigh.
