error message vanishes too quickly

Just a little thing:

When I write mail with mutt like
    mutt somebody@somewhere

then mutt seems to print an error message after I've confirmed the
sending of the message with 'y'.
Problem is just: I can't read the err msg because it vanishes so quickly.
I suspect mutt does a \r instead of a \n, but I could well be wrong.

Gab.

I've had similar problems with Mutt's error messages flashing by too
quickly. One solution is to use script(1). This captures all the
characters going to a terminal in a file that can then be read to see
what the message was. The procedure is:

1. Execute 'script'.
2. Execute 'mutt somebody@somewhere'.
3. Try sending your message.
4. Exit mutt.
5. Type 'exit' to exit script.
6. View the file 'typescript' to see what the error message was.
