I am using Eudora Lite Version 1.4.4. I want to download a later
version of Eudora Lite. If I backup my Eudora Lite on a floppy
& in case things go wrong, can I reinstall my old Eudora
from the floppy? Please comment.

Sure, no problem. Just don't start using eudora before you have copied
all the files back from the floppy. Don't worry about overwriting the
(empty) new mailboxes. Actually I think you mat just install the new
version on top of the old files, but backing up suerly is wise...
