I seem to recall reading a note somewhere about Dr. Meyer's intentions regarding control of the Eiffel language definition. Although I cant remember where I read this, I seem to recall that the intent was that ISE retain control of the Eiffel language definition, in order to ensure that all implementations of Eiffel conform. Furthermore, this would permit the continued development of the language, without the stagnation (or committee-designed feel) imposed by a standards organization. Could someone from ISE please comment on this? Andrew K. Wright akwright@watmath.waterloo.edu CS Dept., University of Waterloo, Ont., Canada.
