We have written a Visual Basic program that sends keystrokes to Microsoft Mail. When you run the program it works fine, brings up MS Mail with MAPI and then sends the proper key strokes to it. When we try to launch the VB program using DDE links, it go es as far as the keystroke part of the code, than it just sits there until the DDE Link is timed out. After receiving the timeout message, the program continues, as it should. 1) Does DDE shut out keyboard IO? 2) Any way to make this work without the error message? (if they try to suppress the error, they get a GPF). 3) Is there a better way? Remember, MS Mail, itself, does not support DDE. Please let me (P20881@email.mot.com) know by electronic mail. thanks, bill +----------------------------------+----------------------------------+ | Bill Nelson, SE | EMail: P20881 | | CIDM Sys Tech Planning & Design | Internet: P20881@email.mot.com | | Motorola Gov and Systems Tech | Voice: 602-441-2753 fax(441-6181)| | 8220 E.
