Is there a FAQ or can some nice angel give directions for using GNUPlot
to create .gif images for the web.  I need to create graphs of hospital
data on a dialy basis.  I have GNUPlot downloaded and running, but can't
seem to get pbm (to be converted to gif using pbm utils) output.  Any
direction is greatly appreciated!

'set terminal pbm color [small|medium|large]' works at me.
Then ppmtogif converts the output.

Have a look at some of our work on the Columbia River Technical
Management Team Home Page <http://etd.pnl.gov:2080/TMT>.  Start with
<http://etd.pnl.gov:2080/TMT/current/pageinfo/tools.html>. On the page
there is a link to ps2tgif.sh, which does exactly what you want.
