  I had compiled a binaries support gif output myself. But it can't work.
It generate a gif that not complete. So I can view it.

  It there any one success this? Can you give me the binaries???

What operating system are you using?

-If you are using AIX4.1.4 I can give you the binaries.

-If you are not using AIX4.1.4 you need to get the source code
	for gnuplot3.6 and link it with the gif graphics library gd1.2

       you can get the source code for gd1.2 at www.boutell.com/gd

       you can get the source code for gnuplot3.6.297 and
	the binaries for AIX4.1.4 via anonymous ftp at

	sercc.dnr.state.sc.us
	(source)     /home/ftp/incoming/gnuplot3.6.tar.gz
	(binaries)   /home/ftp/incoming/gnuplot
	(help file)	     /home/ftp/incoming/gnuplot.gih
