Hi.  I finally found the bug that was bothering me!!

First off, am I posting to the wrong group?  Is this
only for usage questions?  Are people receiving these
posts?  Thank you.

The bug is in gplt_x11.c.  When XParseColor() is
called with "red", the machine crashes.  It is probably
a bug in XFree86 3.1.2.  Workaround:  use "black"
instead.
