It has to be
  export DISPLAY7.0.0.1:0
but this may slow down things a litte bit (depends on the cleverness of
your X server), so use
  export DISPLAY=:0
instead.

> 	# xhost +127.0.0.1 (or perhaps + 127.0.0.1)

If you use "DISPLAY=:0" please use "xhost local:" instead (if you use
"xhost local:" and also use "DISPLAY7.0.0.1:0" and everything works as
expected, you may have a clever X server).
