Hi there, I've posted about this text adventure in the CBM emulator newsgroup, and I suspect there has been a version of it on the Apple ][. Maybe one of you guys could help me out? Here's the story: I am doing a little bit of research on this old text adventure, released on Commodore 64 and probably on other populair systems at that time too (Apple II and the likes?). Here is the info I've got so far: Offical name: Planet of the Robots Probably also known as: Robot War C64 version written by: Daniel Thomas C64 version published by: Thorania Software C64 version language: German Style: text adventure with few graphical parts Released: around 1983 I am planning to translate and speed-up this beautiful classic text adventure, but I also wanna get in touch with people who know this game, or would like to get the English version. I'm also looking for other versions of this game (perhaps already in German?) on other systems, and furthermore any info on the game, the author or the company. Is there anyone out there that can help? Thanks ahead! For the people who think they remember this great game, but don't know it for sure, here's a disciption: You are a robot that's transported into the future. You can wander around, entering a mall and a computer shop (and play on a Commodore C640!), or a restaurant (but only when you're wearing a tie!)... I can't remember the aim of the game as I only recently got this game again, and I haven't played it much yet. If you know ANYTHING about this game, please let me know! For people who're interested in the English translation: let me know! Any classic text adventure fan should have this one! Hey, thanks ahead and see you, Roel N. -- pervy@pi.nerd (change "nerd" into "net" for the correct address)
