Audio Engineer -------------- Williams Electronics Games, Inc., has an immediate opening for electrical an engineer developing audio hardware and software for coin-operated video, pinball and gaming machines. Position involves programming and maintaining DSP sound operating system on ADSP-2105 DSP, and working closely with separate pinball and video EE departments to take hardware projects from design to completion. Also involves designing and troubleshooting analog audio circuits. Must have BSEE or equivalent. Day to day tasks involved with the position: 1. DSP Programming on ADSP-21xx family of DSP's (memory interfacing, host I/O, A/D, D/A, real-time operating system, using in-circuit emulator) 2. Digital Hardware Design (IC level design, creating schematics with ViewLogic, creating and reviewing PCB layout with PCAD, creating and reviewing bills of materials, specifying parts, FPGA and ASIC design) 3. Analog Hardware Design (audio filter design and verification, audio power amp design and testing) Candidates should have very good digital and analog debugging and troubleshooting skills.
