QuestLink Technology has introduced several new features in its free IC
Index at http://www.questlink.com/home.html. The IC Index is a support
tool for engineers that allows subscribers to access integrated circuit
information via a cross-reference and product index linked to
datasheets.

Thanks to the thousands of design engineers that currently use our
service, QuestLink has upgraded the IC Index with several enhancements.

 * New Manufacturer Search
 * New Keyword Search
 * Faster Access and Easier Navigation

New Manufacturer Search

The IC Index contains a profile page for every major semiconductor
manufacturer listed. Each Manufacturer Profile page contains a company
description, a set of links to their most popular products, sales and
distributor information, and a Keyword Search that is specific to the
individual manufacturer.

New Keyword Search

You can now search the IC Index by root part number, part description,
and functional category. Keyword Searches can also be limited to a
specific manufacturers parts or expanded to encompass all
manufacturers.

Faster Access and Easier Navigation

The IC Index database has been optimized to provide faster delivery of
product information and the site makes minimal use of graphics to help
speed page returns.

New navigational aids (headers and footers) have been placed on every
page and part listings have been redesigned to make finding and
selecting the right parts easier than ever.

QuestLink Technology's free IC Index of integrated circuit products can
be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.questlink.com.
Questions or comments about the IC Index are welcome at
webmaster@questlink.com.

Yes, I just looked: It's still Absolutely Fabulous!

So when you can't find the information in the ChipDir,
which is mirrored world-wide to 16(!) sites near you(!),
have a look in Questlink!

A link to Questlink is (of course) provided on the main page
of the ChipDir under the header 'If you haven't found it yet'.
This in keeping with the good old WWW-tradition of linking to
other useful sources of information, but where is the reciprocal
link to the ChipDir at Questlink, one might wonder?

Support the 'open' sites on the WWW and not the sites that
constantly stare at their own navel!
There's soo much to do and soo much opportunities for
cooperation and so little time...

Greetings,
Jaap
