Zu diesem spannenden Thema veranstaltet die Berliner Condat GmbH am
28.04.97 ein Tagesseminar. Wir m�chten damit ein Forum f�r die Pr�sentation
und Diskussion gegenw�rtiger und zuk�nftiger Entwicklungen zu obigem Thema
bieten. Eine Praxisstudie in der Telekom-Industrie haben wir im letzten
Jahr durchgef�hrt. Sie gab auch den Anla� zu dieser Seminarreihe.

Das erste Seminar fand bei allen Beteiligten gro�en Anklang. Pr�sentationen
und Diskussion waren von hohem Niveau, aber vor allem der Blick "�ber den
eigenen Tellerrand" wurde als sehr positiv empfunden. Wir haben diesmal
noch zwei vertiefende Vortr�ge zu den Themen Methodik bzw. CORBA sowie die
spezielle Frage der Migration zu objektorientierten Technologien
ber�cksichtigt.

I think it's a reasonable assumption that most people reading an
English-language newsgroup don't want to download a message to find it's
in German. Especially if the header's in English so those with off-line
readers are fooled into downloading the body.

Those of you privileged to understand and appreciate the German language
might consider subscribing to German newsgroups.

You are of course absolutely right. I apologize for tricking the
English readers with the title of my message. Actually, I didn't dare
to use a German title because I feared that would have provoked
everybody reading the group and not only those interested in the
subject.

I was wrong. For those of you are interested in what we did in the
area of OO in telecommunications I enclose the following (English!)

I am afraid there is nothing like de.comp.object (at least nothing
valuable AFAIK). I tried to send the message with "distribution: de",
but that didn't work with my server. Maybe somebody has an idea (which
he emails me)...
