TK70 for uVAX 3100/20?

Is there a way to add a TK70 (or equivalent) tape drive to a uVAX 3100/20?
We want to be able to read existing TK50 and TK70 tapes.

The 3100 has an existing SCSI port and at least two half-high SCSI drive
bays that are unused. It may or may not have empty Q-Bus slots (I haven't
had a chance to examine the machine in detail).

The OS is VMS V5.4-3 (soon to be upgraded to V5.5-2).

TIA for any suggestions.

  The TZ30 is a 1/2-height SCSI TK50-compatible drive. It doesn't read or
write TK70's, though.

I'm not sure what a 3100/20 is (from your description it has Q-bus slots,
but I thought all 3100's were busless). If it does indeed have an open Q-bus
slot, you can get a TK70 and a TQK70 controller. This will read and write
TK70's and read TK50's.

The TZ30 was considered, but the capacity of a TK50 is too small...TK70
capacity (min) is required.

Thanks for the thought though.
