Well, there's one less thing the Chargers have to worry about. Now their biggest worry should be - are we stupid enough to really sign bryan cox? I can't believe they are serious, but I guess they are. I guess the Chargers and Bobby Ross' pronouncements about wanting high-class good citizen types was just so much managerial bullshit. Maybe they can find that doctor that prescribed all the drugs to the Chargers in the early 70's and Cox can play the whole season on thorazine. Hey would Conrad Dobler be available to coach the OL? He would fit right in with the Chargers new psychotic personality. Who's next Andre Rison, Warren "Take That Bitch" Moon as back up QB, Buddy Ryan to replace Adolph? Oh, well. Win at any price I guess. Iceberg

The guy is a player and he would make players around him better (re. Seau). I wouldn't worry about the Buffalo incidents. Actually, I would in the sense that the guy has passion for his team. Could you imagine how much he would hate the Raiders after dawning the Lightning Bolts? His teammates have never had anything bad to say that I know of. So I think he would be less of a distraction than LO'N. Why are some people yearning for a team full of mormons. This is football, as long as they make plays. Do we really another 9-7 season with Lewis Bush and aren't we sick of losing the Millers, Harmons, O'Neals and Richards and not replacing them with stud players. Booman.

Ok, I must give my $.02 about Bryan Cox. He is not a bad citizen. He is a good guy with a bad temper. The coaches at Miami named him the Captain of the defense, he was LOVED by his teamates, and there was never a conflict with the coaches or the team. He may not be the smartest or most rational human being, but if we can get him without breaking the bank, it may be worth it. The big question is, if we sign Bryan Cox, will we be a better team? The answer is obvious.

The answer is obvious. If one of the reasons for dumping O'Neal was that he was a bad influence on the other players, should we really be adding Cox to our lineup? I'd be willing to endure a rebuilding year just to see Cox go somewhere else.
