First of all, you are attributing shit to me that I never said. I have *never*
referred to Favre as a flash in the pan or one year wonder. I have stated on
more than one occasion that I thought he was a great QB, probably the equal of
Aikman physically with only the mental part holding him back to this point in
his career.

Back in the 70's it was about average. You seem to be unwilling to recognize the
evolution of the game of football. At the time of his retirement, Roger Staubach
was the highest rated passer of all time with a rating at about 83. Today that
would be "average." Yet Doug exceeded that rating in both of his last two years
in the league.

Huh? They had Ricky Bell, who *was* a one-year wonder ( a muscle illness claimed
his skills and later his life) for two years and I dare you to name another
running back who ran for 1000 yards while Doug was there. Hint: Wilder didn't
do it until Doug was gone and Bell only managed it once.

You either have problems with article attribution or you're just brain dead. I'll
give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you the former.
