Yes, Waters played CB for a while. That's why he played safety. 8-) My
most vivid memory of Waters at CB was a game against the Rams in which
Harold Jackson caught what seemed like 19 TD passes. Waters spent most
of the day reading the back of Jackson's jersey. 8-(

Leaving out Drew Pearson at WR is a tough one.

At RB, Dorsett and Smith is kind of a cop-out, since in real life you
would have a FB. So leaving aside whether you would take Dorsett or
Smith (I would probably take Dorsett because of his speed), who would
you put at FB? Darrell Johnston, Don Perkins, or Robert Newhouse (just
to spite the memory of Howard Cosell)?

In the might-have-been category, Thomas Henderson at his best was a
good OLB and Cvr.

I would take Too Tall Jones over Haley. Jones, Martin, Lilly, White.

Tony Fritsch should be the K just for that onsides kick he did against
the 49ers. 8-)

The choice at punter is ridiculous. How can they leave out Danny
White, "America's Punter". 8-) He couldn't kick as far as most, but he
was excellent at hitting the coffin corner and always a threat to run
for a 1st down. Does anybody remember that cool play where he ran past
the line of scrimmage and then punted?

They left out a couple of important positions. Who would you take as
all-time Cowboy owner? General Manager? 8-)
