As soon as I saw the title of this thread (and the traffic) I knew that Shaughnessy was at it again. I missed the column, but this is a very common tactic of his and the vehement reactions show how successful it is. When the Red Sox were in the playoffs against the Indians he did a "Why Boston's a better city than Cleveland" column similarly belittling Cleveland, their fans, their teams, the midwest, you name it. Everyone from Cleveland goes berzerk. It's a formula. He uses it all the time. It gets people to read his column. Deal with it, then get over it. He's not the only one. It won't be the last time. If you don't have the self-assurance to laugh at such attacks, maybe it's because there's more truth in them than you'd like to admit. Oh, by the way, if it's escaped your attention, the reason we hate the Cowboys is that they win. That's why there were Celtics-haters and Yankee-haters. It goes with success. If you don't like it, go back to being 1-15 and we can all be happy. Jack Celtic fan Yankee hater Cowboy hater
