Dodgers Reported to have Signed Kevin Brown

According to the A.P, the Dodgers will announce at a 3:00 PM press
conference that they have signed Kevin Brown to a 7 year, 105 million
dollar contract.  Imagine that they could give Brown that contract and
let a franchise player like Piazza go.

If LA REALLY wanted Piazza they could've signed him 3 years ago to a
long term or they could've signed him last spring.  Piazza wasn't in
their plans.  So back off mega-mouth.
