Hi! I'm gonna build my first N2 laser:-) but finding copper sheets large enough is really hard. I'm following the SciAm design and I'd like to know if it's possible to scale it down to half its size (30cm channel -> 15cm channel). This would be *much* easier for me to build but I don't want to waste time on a thing that won't work. In order to improve the output I've thought about putting in a mirror and moving the sparg gap to a corner. A smaller device will let me achieve a higher pulse rate so it shouldn't be too bad. One last question: is there a law bonding the channel lenght to the power output? I suppose this isn't a linear law. Thank you:-) Paolo
