Would anyone have any information concerning B378 encoding?
I have exhausted all avenues I know to look concerning this.
I am looking into a infrared product that interconnects LANs.
The electrical signal from the computer is a tri-state (+5,0,-5 volt)
signal.
I was told the standard used is called B378 encoding. Compared to
fiber signals which are binary. Thank you.

Sam, I appreciate all the help you have been. The sites and responses you
have provided has been most helpful.

Kind Regards,
