Xenon ion and Oxygen ion , Xenon on green lines and Oxygen on blue, green and yellow lines, they are not superradient, and require cavity optics, Xenon gets a hot cathode, oxygen gets a cold cathode, in a tube basically identical to a ion laser tube. neither will lase CW, and xenon is self terminating, oxygen lases in the afterglow like mercury. the journal "Review of Scientific Instruments" had oxygen plans about 12 years ago, and it has very high gain. Xenon was used in some older resister trimmers.
