Had a *most* unusual "dream experience" (on the 24??, during a couch nap, if I
recall correctly) in which the dreamer (or the dream perspective) was viewing a
dog (who looked like my present dog, Ginger) and another creature, whom the
dreamer at first thought was a butterfly, as it was flitting about above ground
level by perhaps around a foot or two.

The dog was leaping to get the critter, much like how a dog might leap / snap to
try and catch a pesky fly.

The dreamer (or dream perspective) "zoomed in" (approached, got a closer view)
only it was less like walking, and more like "leading with one's right foot."
(At the time, I'm *fairly certain* this was a couch nap, which cradles my
backside between the bottom cushions and the side, so it's much akin to being on
one's back, yet comfortably, and this couch is long enough that my left foot is
comfortably tucked within the couch's armrest, while my right foot can be a tad
"loose" (or "free") depending upon position.)

*Normally,* in a flying dream, I'm either "projecting" from my head, or
sometimes my chest (as if on a flying pillow, for example) and even one time, by
"following my fingers." I'm *fairly certain* this was the *first* time I'd ever
been "projecting from my foot/toes."

At any rate, the dreamer (or dream perspective) came closer to the dog and
critter, only to notice that what was thought to be a butterfly was now either a
squirrel or a rabbit. I can only surmise that since those are the two critters
most earnestly chased by Ginger, that may be of some significance as to why I'm
unable to remember precisely which was which and when. I *think* it was first a
squirrel, yet as the dreamer approached, it became a rabbit, and rather than
take that "capture bite" that a dog can execute on a rabbit, instead, it
*licked* the rabbit's fur, as if they'd grown up together since infancy, and
were like a "blended family."

The dreamer held the rabbit with one hand (the right hand?) and the critter may
have tried to wriggle around to bite the dreamer, but the dreamer calmed the
critter so that it had nothing to fear / became peaceful.

Now what was more interesting than anything else about all this was how the
dreamer "entered" that critter's presence. It was *as if* the dog and the
critter had been *floating above ground level,* and now, having followed the
dreamer's right foot, the dreamer and the critter also seemed to be floating.
The feeling was as if there were no gravity whatsoever. Clarity likely an
"astral body" type experience. For all I know, the dreamer *may* have actually
taken the perspective of the dog! Since coming to the focus of the critter, the
dog was no longer a direct *visual* (objective) element within the dream.

Note: I *normally* compose my dreams on a modern day Chromebook, and it handles
the superscript "th" easy-peasy.
From there, I email it to my older (Dell) PC running Windows XP, because from
there I can access this newsgroup using *GOOD* old Outlook Express (OE) and
*that* works wonderfully as well.

However, the superscript "th" (for the "24th") came out looking as it does in
the above quoted section of the line.

Just sayin'.... Also, it was posted Friday morning (today) rather than
Thursday, because yesterday (Thursday, my birthday) I spent *much* of the day
(IRL) replacing my garbage disposal, and consequently missed the posting that
I'd planned for yesterday.

Interrupted prayer scene:
The dreamer is simply traveling through a building and enters a nicely
wooden-paneled room, and surprises a guy (Caucasian looking, for the most part)
who appeared to be on his knees, facing the shorter wall (inside the door to the
right is a corner, and the shorter wall goes to that corner.)

The dreamer excuses himself for interrupting the person's prayers, thinking it
was a Muslim praying to Mecca (a bit of idolatry, perhaps, but to continue....)

The dreamer turns away, realizes this builing is on the southern side of Clark
Blvd. (thinking in the dream it was West Clark Blvd., in Murfreesboro TN, but
IRL it would be EAST Clark Blvd.) and (being well-acquainted with that
particular area of the road) informs the praying person that he's facing the
wrong direction, rather than east. The praying person simply asks "How do you
know?" (or something to that effect) and the dreamer explains that the airport
(in the direction from where the person was located, directly out the door from
which the dreamer entered) is north of that stretch of road. (The praying
person was actually facing "west," although, depending upon one's location on
the globe, those situated "east of" Mecca might actually face "the shortest
distance," thus to the west. I'm uncertain as to whether Muslims are allowed to
face west, however.) Clarity 9+/10-.

Travel through a metropolis / city:
The dreamer was *as if* traveling on foot, yet with a speed more like that of a
motorcycle, though with no feeling of being in or on a vehicle.

The scenery was similar to that of a highway or interstate, specifically, of an
area of a large town where there may be overpasses where the size of the
population growth required building over sections of town that remained
developed (as it's unlikely that someone would build *under* an overpass. There
was a sense that, for whatever reason, the dreamer was traveling in the wrong
direction, then turned around and traveled back along the way in which (he) had
just come.

There seemed to be a concern about meeting oncoming traffic, much like as if one
were traveling along the wrong way of an interstate or highway, yet there was no
oncoming traffic whatsoever: the way was totally clear.

This eventually came to an area where the roadway became that of an
ever-tightening, spiral-shaped waterslide (heading downwards, of course) only
there was no water to speak of. The dreamer simply began swirling down along
the slide, at one point feeling as if there was a type of hand-car structure's
wheels (or possibly just a lower-placed, *firm* hand) keeping the dreamer from
flying off the slide due to centrifugal force.

As the downward spiral became rather tight, the spiral and the slide *opened up*
and straightened out to a full-width roadway that opened even wider into a ramp
that merged onto an open area, *much like* how a car might spiral down from an
upper level of a parking garage. The lower width / mouth of the ramp/merge area
was at *least* 3-cars wide. Yet again, there was no oncoming traffic.

However, the dreamer then became objective *from* a vehicle, that is, a vehicle
simply "came forth" from the dreamer's perspective, and that vehicle was a
rather *heavy* ambulance. (They're significantly heavier than a sedan or
compact car, for certain!)

There had been some sort of (crazy??) female (age teens to mid 20s, perhaps?)
lounging at the mouth of the ramp, possibly on the flat surface proper (floor
area) of the "parking garage," and was wearing shorts and a lady's T-shirt (the
type with short sleeves past the shoulders) and just acting as if her being
there was no problem whatsoever.

Well, due to how shape and flow of the downward spiral caused the ambulance to
travel in a straight line at the mouth, the ambulance had no choice than to roll
over the female's legs. The dreamer had a slight moment of hope that the speed
of the ambulance might spare her any serious damage, but there was almost a
time-gravity well at the point where the back wheels rolled over her legs, and
one of them just *broke.* There *may* have been a cry of anguish, but if so, it
was rather short and otherwise not even noticed.

Some *other* female comes to her aid, and I *think* the dreamer informs her to
be careful, as her leg was just broken, but the woman has this nonchalant
attitude of [It doesn't matterΒ— see?] and begins wrangling the injured female's
broken leg like a water hose or limp spaghetti noodle.

The dreamer somehow contacts 9-1-1, and a female voice is heard asking, "What is
the nature of your emergency?"

The dreamer explains that (he'd) just witnessed an accident, and begins
describing the location in terms of the buildings in the area. (And even in the
dream itself, there was some lack of clarity as to the precise location of the
incident, as if the building names or block numbers were not quite understood.)

A moment or two goes by, and an ambulance shows up, and there's an effort to
locate the injured person, only she's gone somewhere, and the dreamer spots her
walking (with a flappy leg) nearby and somehow notifies the EMTs (emergency
medical technicians) of the person's location.

Yet when they appear, the female has become a small, curly-haired dog, similar
to a schnoodle or cocker-poo, and the dreamer is intent upon catching the
critter so as to see that it gets some proper first aid.

The dog is active enough to try to evade capture, yet the dreamer eventually
gets the dog and cradles it in the dreamer's arms (it was a small pooch) and
after a moment the critter stops shaking as the fear subsides. Clarity 9 for
the most part, as the outdoor travel section was a clear day scene.

This counts as a "Father Dream" for obvious reasons, although I'm a tad
uncertain as to how to process it, so here goes:
Early this morning, shortly before (or nearly at) 6:30 AM, I (the dreamer) was
apparently in the process of planning for a trip.

In the process of this planning, the dreamer was collecting / gathering together
a bit of cash, one particular bill being in the denomination of a $300.oo bill.
(I know, odd, right?)

While there was no exact count of the cash gathered, some action occurred
wherein my (late) mother (appearing as she might have during her 30s?) appeared
to be hiding something from the dreamer, who suspected she'd taken out some of
the dreamer's cash and squirreled it away somewhere. The dreamer actually
queried her, in a nearly accusatory manner, very close to:

"What do you mean by that? Have you taken some of my cash?"

Her response was along the lines of "You shouldn't have that much cash floating
around where you might lose it or it might get stolen." (For the record, I've
*rarely* carried any cash in my life, as I see it as more of a liability than an
asset when simply carried for the sake of carrying it. I may take some for any
expected purchase, like a hair cut ($10) but that's typically it.)

At any rate, the mother character exposed what she'd been holding and the
dreamer snatched it out of her hands (effecting taking back what was his
anyways) and *one* of those bills was a $300.oo bill. The dreamer then went to
an area of his bedroom where he had a basket with a bunch of junk in it, and an
item within the basket was like a "sack" with a bank logo (for MBT, which is
long since gone or absorbed in IRL) on the side.

Bags like this, when used in businesses like restaurants, typically have a
locked zipper, but this one was just open ended, although folded / rolled up,
nearly like a sleeping blanket, only smaller, and the dreamer (sitting on the
floor of the bedroom) began reviewing the money (likely adding what had just
been recovered to the bag, and about to set out to count the contents of the bag
itself.)

At that point, my father (looking also about 30-ish, yet rather mature, more
like 40) came up from behind and bear hugged me with a happy [Way to Go!] type
expression. (Sorry, I'm unable to recall his exact words.) The emotional
embrace was *entirely* unexpected, as I have no waking recollection of him
*ever* giving me that kind of hug or supportive embrace in my waking life. I
think he shook my hand once, when I introduced him to my infant son Charles, his
grandson, but IRL, the only time he ever told me he loved me was when he was
clearly drunk (typically from beer, but who knows if he'd snuck anything harder
in on those occasions.)

The dreamer (which "I" felt throughout my being) remarked at how it would've
been helpful to have had such positive support during his (my) years growing up,
said in a tone/manner expressing a bit of "better late than never," or "I'm
uncertain as to how to process this (due to lack of experience)" ending the
dream on the lines of feeling a bit humble rather than exuberant, although I
*did* feel my father's "joy" regarding myself, personally, for some reason.
Clarity 8, although the hug was more like an 11.

Please note, I never saw nor felt him "release" that hug, that is, normally when
someone hugs you, even from behind, there's a sense of that other person's
release and separation afterward. There was no sense of release / separation,
as if I'd been "blessed" in some manner, especially resonant with John 10:30Β— "I
and the Father are One."

Just had a "couch nap" with an interesting dream, wherein the dreamer was
walking down a hallway, and saw a little black girl, maybe 4 years old, emerging
from a room ahead to the left, whereas the child's parent was in a lounge-like
room further ahead.

The dreamer was concerned that the child should be under better supervision, and
took a squirt gun / water sprayer and spritzed the little girl from a distance
of around 6' to 10', thinking it would simply get the girl's attention.

Instead, she fell flat, like she'd been blown down by a wind storm.

Concerned, the dreamer scooped her up and carried her to her dad, sitting on a
couch, and was about to give her over when the dreamer noted she was as warm as
a kitten. (Dream ended, clarity 9.)

The other dream involved encountering a guy (who looked a bit like the dreamer
but was considered as someone else) and the dreamer (or someone/something)
peeled back the top of the guy's scalp from the front towards the rear, like
opening a freshness cover on a frozen dinner, revealing the *inside* of the
guy's head was entirely hollow, looking like the inside of a walnut with the
meat removed. Clarity 7 (symbolic, obviously.)

I *think* it may have something to do with drinking a pot of coffee (for the
first time in several months) and the feeling of extreme sleepiness that
followed later that afternoon into the next day.

Afternoon couch nap dream:
The dreamer was inside a house, one that "felt like" it either belonged *to* the
dreamer, or that maintenance of the house was the dreamer's responsibility in
some manner.

The dreamer was pointing out to someone (a female figure, also somehow connected
to the house) that water was streaming along some of the inner, architectural
features as if there were a water leak somewhere, and water was flowing (in
constrained streams, as if along non-existent straws) in a manner that concerned
the dreamer into thinking that there was a plumbing issue that needed fixing.

I'd put this at clarity 7 (symbolic) because later today, I spent a good deal of
the afternoon compiling a spreadsheet of the monthly bills that are *mostly
essential* (such as insurance, taxes, electric, water, tithing) yet did not
include any food bill. I'm *wondering* if the water flowing along lines of the
house were symbolically representing the "water of life" that is necessary to
maintain the structure?
